Funding Study Abroad

Financial aid options are generally available to support your study abroad program costs. However, most students find they need to supplement their standard financial aid package with additional funding sources. The University offers nearly 40 different scholarships with varying eligibility requirements and award amounts specifically for UO students planning to study abroad. For detailed information about available scholarships and your eligibility, please consult with a financial aid counselor at the Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships.

There are four scholarships to help students fund their future study abroad experience. First generation college students, students with disabilities, and first-term freshmen are eligible to apply and use these scholarships at any point in their academic career at UO.
